The Annolighting team is mainly responsible for the overall engineering solution of non-standard customized lamps and lanterns in the lobby of the Indigo Hotel Haixinsha this time. Through professional products and reliable technical services, it provides customers with one-stop lighting solutions from modeling to lighting, design to production, construction to maintenance.
Stepping into the lobby of Haixinsha Indigo, it can be seen that the overall structure of the space is divided into three parts: corridor, front desk, and service desk. The reception desk in the lobby of the hotel has Dragon Boat Festival dragon boat drums to welcome guests. The porcelain displayed in the windows is elegant and luxurious, and the kapok decoration on the ceiling in front of the door also shows the charm of Cantonese rhyme, as if walking into a private mansion hotel in Xiguan.
The architectural design almost retains the original architectural structure and frame, and matches the interior with a very strong sense of history to highlight the Lingnan cultural heritage that Indigo, located in Haixinsha, wants to convey to the guests. Therefore, using modern industrial downlights for space lighting would be too inconsistent. What kind of lamps and light should be used to meet the spatial style/cultural attributes/lighting needs at the same time has become the difficulty of this project.
The lobby service desk is directly opposite the front desk, and there is no substantial partition in the middle. Only the corridor can become a visual dividing line. However, in addition to consultation, the space at the reception desk also has soft seats for guests to rest next to it.
So in this space, we deepened the design of the ceiling lamp at the reception desk in line with the space needs of the hotel. In the end, we used 2,108 amber crystal triangle tubes with a 2700K/30° light source to create this glass-like custom chandelier through crystal refraction. When the guests sit here and rest, they feel like they are in the Dongshan Mansion in the 1920s and 1930s. The warm light color and retro furniture are carved with Lingnan time exclusive to Indigo.
Originally, the front desk decorative lights were more complicated in the design plan, but taking into account the correspondence between the overall space height and the front desk countertop, the design was adjusted in the deepening drawing. The original combined lantern was split into three customized lamps of different shapes, which correspond to the three dragon boat drums at the front desk.
Subtraction is done in the already complicated decoration of the space. The material is made of high-quality titanium gold decoration and glass fiber reinforced plastic arc cover, etc., The surface treatment is Japanese, and the colors are retro and rich in Lingnan style, and the light and shape are used to make a sunny pen.
The corridor is the visual dividing line between the front desk and the service desk. There are highlights on the left and right. We use the bulb-shaped design of the crystal glass cover to provide flood light for the space in a small and exquisite manner, and it is integrated into the retro brilliance of the entire lobby, realizing that the entire space does not need commercial lighting. Use decorative lights themselves to complete the final step of light art and function.
In the end, the answer was successfully handed over in this project. Combining the local culture and inheritance of the project, combined with the concepts and elements of the design unit, the entire light environment was used to bless the indoor space atmosphere of the lobby, and the integration and reshaping were completed, so that the moment the guests walked into the lobby, they seemed to have traveled to the old days of old Guangzhou.
